Carlos Soto is the founder of MyCashMoves, a financial education platform dedicated to helping individuals build wealth and achieve financial freedom. He proudly served as a Sergeant and Medic in the U.S. Army, where he earned the Combat Medical Badge and the Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star.

Carlos faced financial setbacks early in life—at one point holding a 400 credit score. He didn’t fully understand how credit cards worked. Like many people, he maxed out his first three cards and only made the minimum payments until he could no longer keep up. Eventually, his accounts went into collections, and he experienced the real consequences of having bad credit. For years, no credit card company was willing to issue him another card. This is when Carlos began to learn strategies and lessons that transformed his financial life. Determined to turn things around, he rebuilt his credit to 800 within five years, proving that disciplined choices can transform financial futures.

Through perseverance, Carlos saved his first $50,000—a milestone he initially struggled with the temptation to spend! Instead, he doubled down and with the help of his wife saved an additional $50,000 in just 18 months. With $100,000 saved and leveraging his VA loan benefit, Carlos acquired a multi-unit property in Huntington Park, CA, with zero down. They remodeled the home, lived in one unit, and rented the others—kickstarting their journey into real estate investing.

Expanding his expertise, Carlos began investing in ETFs, joined White Feather Investments to grow his network, and immersed himself in learning advanced real estate strategies. Today, he integrates artificial intelligence tools to help others master personal finance, avoid common mistakes, and accelerate their wealth-building journey.
